Prologue
My name is Rei Hino! I go to a strict girl’s academy. My home is just a Shinto shrine. I work there part time as a Miko. I’m not boasting, but I look pretty darn good as one!
Usagi may call me short-fused, but that’s not true at all! If she’s going to say anything, she should say I have a strong sense of justice, or that I’m passionate! Hey Usagi! If you’re going to work as a Miko, you can’t keep sleeping all the time; take it seriously!
God, Grandpa! You can keep flirting with the girls who come to the shrine!
My guardian planet is Mars. When I transform in flames to become Sailor Mars, I abolish evil!

Poem
It was… something that made me lose my way. Once I realized it, I was standing within a red flame. Randomly lit sparks between two people without saying a word. We weren’t sure who started it, but we both knew we were in love. We can’t go there. You can’t look at me there. But in my flimsy robes… in my flimsy robes I’m shaking on tiptoe. Manipulated by some invisible force, how far will we go? Guided by some mysterious unseen force, how far will we go? It was like sinking down into some deep ocean. Familiar and warm… So strong, I fall away from the light. That may be the true arbitrary part of it. But it may be a deep form of love. You’re calling me from within the deep ocean. Calling only for me. I wanted to know that burning voice of yours. But when the time comes, I may be too frightened and run away. I wonder what it feels like to be loved by someone you love. I wonder what it feels like to fall in love so fast, to say I never fell in love. Manipulated by some invisible force, how far will we go? Guided by some mysterious unseen force, how far will we go?
